    GMAT Exam Timing

    The GMAT(Graduate Management Admission Test) is typically administered throughout the year,and the exam timing may vary depending on the location and test center.However,here is a general outline of what you can expect:

    Total Duration: 3 hours and 7 minutes (not including optional breaks).

    Section Timings and Order Options

    Analytical Writing Assessment (AWA)

    • Content: 1 essay analyzing an argument.
    •  Time: 30 minutes 

    Integrated Reasoning (IR)

    • Time: 30 minutes
    • Content: 12 questions covering multi-source reasoning, graphics interpretation, two-part analysis, and table analysis.

    Quantitative Reasoning (Quant)

    • Time: 62 minutes
    • Content: 31 questions, including problem-solving and data sufficiency.

    Verbal Reasoning (Verbal)

    • Time: 65 minutes
    • Content: 36 questions, including reading comprehension, critical reasoning, and sentence correction.

    Optional Breaks

    • Breaks: Two optional 8-minute breaks.
      • First Break: Between the first and second sections.
      • Second Break: Between the third and fourth sections.
