What is TOEFL?
The TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is a standardised test that assesses university applicants' English language skills who primarily speak other languages. The sole purpose of this TOEFL test is to evaluate the proficiency of English in individuals whose native language is not the same. There are 4 sections in the TOEFL task, namely reading, listening, speaking and writing.
TOFEL Exam can be written in three ways they are TOFEL IBT test, TOFEL IBT home edition and TOFEL IBT paper edition.
TOEFL scores are commonly accepted by the American and Canadian universities and educational institutions abroad.

Types of TOEFL Exams?
• TOEFL IBT test: on a computer at an authorized test centre.
• TOEFL IBT Home Edition: on a computer at home, monitored by a live human proctor.
• TOEFL IBT Paper Edition: Two test sessions: Reading, Listening, and Writing sections: on paper at a test centre.

What is the TOEFL Test on Paper?

The exam is taken in 2 sessions and will be delivered on paper.
What is TOEFL Paper Based Test (PBT)?
The TOEFL PBT test was discontinued in April 2021.
The TOEFL Paper-Based Test was an older version of the TOEFL and was only available in certain countries. It was by far the least common of the two versions of the TOEFL.
What is TOEFL Home Edition?
The TOEFL iBT Home Edition is the same TOEFL iBT test you would take at a test center, just taken from the privacy of your own home and monitored online by a human proctor. It's trusted and accepted by universities worldwide.
TOEFL Eligibility?
Eligibility for TOEFL entrance exam is only concerned about candidates successfully completing their 10+2 from a recognized Indian board to take the exam. To put it in other words, the candidate just needs to pass their grade 12 or an equivalent degree to be able to sit for the exam.
