Candidates looking to appear for the PTE exam are required to successfully book a PTE exam slot before appearing for the PTE test.

1. Candidates would be required to visit the official PTE website to register for the PTE test

2. Test takers would be then required to "check availability" in the homepage banner, or "book a test" in the top left corner of the site navigation from anywhere on the website

3. Candidates would be then required to click on 'Check test availability & book' under the PTE Academic heading

4. From here, the candidate would be able to search for a test center and find an appointment.

5. Select the test center closest to you and click next

. Select the date and time of your exam. The candidate would be asked to create (or sign in to) my PTE account

7. Complete your profile. The test taker should also take a moment to read PTE ID policy, which covers what forms of ID are acceptable to bring with you to the test. (For India, only valid Indian passports are accepted)

8. Review your booking details and submit your order. This also includes a PTE fee payment of INR 15,900

PTE Exam Fee

The PTE exam fee for Indian students is INR 14,700. This amount is inclusive of tax. Candidates should note that to make the PTE exam accessible to a large audience, the PTE exam fee at the test centre and at PTE Test at Home (online) are competitively priced at INT 14,700.

PTE Registration:

Provided below are the steps to register for the PTE Exam

• PTE Registration Step 1: Candidates are required to select their appropriate test and their goal for taking the test on the official Academic website.

• PTE Exam Registration Step 2: Candidates would be required to agree to the PTE Terms and Conditions to move to the next step.

• PTE Registration Step 3: Candidates would be required to select their preferred PTE Test Centre, available date and time for their PTE Academic exam.

• PTE Test Registration Step 4a: They would get a confirmation page that would reflect their PTE exam - type, the PTE appointment details (Test Centre, Date and Time of the exam) and the PTE Fee.

• PTE Registration Step 4b: once they are satisfied with their PTE appointment details, they would be required to go ahead with the payment for the PTE exam.

• PTE Exam Registration Step 5: The PTE registration fee has been revised to INR 15,900 including taxes and candidates can pay via any of the multiple payment options.

• Once the PTE registration has been made. Candidates can take a printout of the acknowledgement receipt. They would also have access to the same on their account dashboard
