Why SAT?
✓ The SAT is a multiple-choice, pencil-and-paper test created and administered by the College Board. The purpose of the SAT is to measure a high school student's readiness for college and provide colleges with one common data point that can be used to compare all applicants.
✓ Using SAT Subject Tests, students can differentiate themselves in the college admission process or send a strong message regarding their readiness to study specific majors or programs in college.
✓ With a good SAT score, students will be able to enroll themselves in the top universities of their choice. SAT is a widely accepted entrance exam, and scoring a perfect score gives students the leverage to be accepted into their dream universities much quicker.
SAT Exam Age Eligibility:
There are no eligibility criteria laid down by The College Board for taking the SAT exam. However, since the SAT is for admission to undergraduate programs candidates are advised to appear for their SAT while in standard 11th or 12th.
SAT Exam Cut-Off:
SAT cut-off is the minimum score that is directly responsible for your admission to an undergraduate college/university. Even though the minimum passing score for SAT is 400, as per the College Board there is no listed SAT cut-off for admission or scholarship.

There are many SAT scholarships for economically weak students. Apply for these scholarships and make your way through your dream university.
SAT to go Digital:
SAT Scores are sent to colleges around ten days after the score release date. The following are the upcoming SAT dates along with result dates for the year 2024, for those who are appearing for
SAT exam in India:
• On March 9, 2024, the SAT exam will be conducted next and the results will be announced in March 2024 itself.
• Since the upcoming SAT exam date is in March 2024, results will be announced after 14 days from the exam date.
The students can ensure that their SAT scores have been sent to their universities of choice, which they must have chosen while registering for the SAT. Once the College Board sends the SAT scores across, the university chosen will show sent right adjacent to their names.
SAT Test Results:
Test results are typically released within 2-3 weeks of the test administration and can be viewed online. Students can choose to send their test scores to colleges of their choice.
