To cancel your SAT registration, follow these steps:
- Log In: Access your College Board account where you registered for the SAT.
- Find Your Registration: Navigate to the details of your upcoming SAT.
- Cancellation Option: Select the option to cancel your test registration. This can usually be found in the registration details or under a “Changes” or “Cancellation” tab.
- Confirm Cancellation: Follow the prompts to confirm the cancellation. Be aware that cancellation fees may apply depending on how close to the test date you are canceling.
- Refund: Check if you’re eligible for a refund. Typically, partial refunds are available if you cancel by a certain deadline, usually about five weeks before the test date.

SAT Cancellation Fees:
SAT cancellation fee is only $10. Students do not get a full refund and receive very less. Therefore it is advised to go for an exam date change instead of SAT cancellation.
SAT Rescheduling Fees:
Incase you want to reschedule the SAT exam you have to pay a rescheduling fee of $30. Students also have to pay $30 if they wish to change their SAT exam to SAT Subject Test.
