SCORE REPORTING
There are 3 types of GMAT scores that GMAC generates:
1. An Unofficial Score Report
2. An Official Score Report
3. An Enhanced Score Report
1.Unofficial Score Report
1. you get an unofficial score report on the quant, verbal, integrated reasoning, and total scores immediately after completing the GMAT exam. however, the Analytical writing assessment scores will be given to you on your official score report.
2. you will be given 2 minutes by the computer to either select or cancel the scores. if any action is not selected within the given time, the unofficial scores will automatically be cancelled.
3. the printout of the unofficial score reports is not for admission procedures and cannot be sent to any colleges and universities.
2.Official Score Report
1. you will receive your GMAT Official Score report within 20 days of your GMAT exam. If you take the GMAT Online, you can get it within 7 days.
2. the score report contains scores of the quant, verbal, integrated reasoning, Analytical writing assessment section, and also the total scores. it contains scores of your recent exam and the ones you have taken in the past 5 years.
3. if you have cancelled any scores, the exams will not be listed on the score report. Furthermore, schools will not have any knowledge of you taking the exam.
4. the score report is valid for 5 years and can be sent to schools and colleges for your admission purposes.
3.Enhanced Score Report
1. The GMAT Enhanced Score Report is a breakdown of your test performance in each section.
2. you can get the score report by making a payment of $30 within 5 years of your exam date from ESR. it is available on mba.com
How to send GMAT scores to Schools?
1.Sending GMAT Scores on Test Day
1. On the day of your GMAT test, you will be given the option of sending your official GMAT scores to 5 schools free of cost. However, the score report will be received by the schools within 20 days of your exam date.
2. the school codes will be given in the computer system. Some schools will have multiple departments linked with them so that you can select the department or the program to which you are applying. So, decide the program you want to apply to and select the score recipient at the start of your GMA exam.
3. Nevertheless, you can also select one recipient for sending your scores on the test day. At a later date, you may select other schools and send the scores you want.
