The U.K. Global Talent visa is an immigration category specifically targeted at individuals in specific sectors that wish to work overseas in the U.K.
Effective February 2020, the Tier 1 [Exceptional Talent] visa has replaced the Global Talent visa.
An individual might be able to apply for a Global Talent visa for working in the U.K. if they are either a leader or a potential leader in any of the following fields –
Generally, to be considered under the Global Talent visa category, the applicant must have secured an endorsement from any 1 of the 6 endorsing bodies appointed by the U.K. Home Office.
Above 18 years of age.
Must be endorsed by an endorsing body relevant to the field of his expertise and experience as a leader or potential leader in one of the following fields:
Must have access to sufficient funds in a bank regulated by RBI in the name of the applicant.

The Global Talent visa for the U.K. does not have any nationality-based restriction.
There are 4 endorsement routes available for a Global talent visa un the fields of science, engineering, medicine, the social sciences and the humanities.

Route 3: Endorsed funders
Route 4: Peer review
You might be able to switch over to the Global Talent visa if you are in the U.K. on a different visa.
The application should be made before the expiration of your current visa.
There is no age limit for the global talent visa however, if you are under 18 years old, or 55 years or older you must be able to demonstrate that you will provide 'exceptional benefit to the Australian community.
The Global Talent visa allows you to work in the UK on a flexible basis with fewer restrictions and costs than other immigration categories. Unlike the UK's main Skilled Worker visa, Global Talent is an unsponsored immigration category.
According to the Department of Home Affairs, the standard processing time for the Global Talent Visa is 6-11 months.
By July 2024, the Australian government plans to close out the Business Innovation and Investment subclass 188 visa (BIIP) and will eventually replace it with a new National Innovation visa. Due to a reduction of the allocation for Global Talent visas, applications will likely be more competitive.
