    Work Options

International students are not allowed to work for the first 3 months after arriving at Malta. However, after 3 months, they can find a job and apply for an employment permit. The Maltese government runs a job seekers website named ‘Jobsplus’ for those who are looking for employment opportunities. An international student can work for a maximum of 20 hours in a week and must attend at least 15 hours of class in a week.

Also, a 12 month post study permit is allowed to the international students to get acclimated to the Maltese labour market.
