    Requirements to study Slovenia:

    To get admission to the University or college in Slovenia, you need to submit some of the important documents. These document requirements differ with the institution and course you choose. However, some of the common documents required for the admission purpose are:

    • A filled-in application form.

    • All the Educational certificates such as Secondary school leaving certificate, bachelor’s degree (for post-graduation studies), master’s degree (for Ph.D. studies), and copies of other certificates.

    • A certificate presenting your language proficiency skills (Slovenian language and/or English language)

    • An attested copy of your passport.

     • Motivation letter (statement of purpose)

    • Letter of Recommendation At least 2 recommendation letters from your home educational institution or recent employer.

    • Professional experience certificate, if any

    • Research proposal synopsis: For doctoral studies

    • Portfolio of work (for artistic studies)

    Tuition Fees:

    At public universities in Slovenia, students don’t have to pay tuition fees for Bachelors or Masters if they come from:

    • a European Union (EU) member state

    • Montenegro

    • Bosnia and Herzegovina

    • Serbia

    • Kosovo

    • North Macedonia

    Others have to pay the tuition fee. The fee structure differs with the institution and course chosen. On average:

    • A Bachelor’s degree ranges from 2,000 EUR to 5,000 EUR.

    • You will need to pay around 2,500 EUR to 7,500 EUR for a Master’s degree,

    • 3,000 EUR to 12,000 EUR for Doctorate.

    Cost of Living in Slovenia:

    The cost of living for international students in Slovenia is comparatively cheap. Rent, Food, travel expenses, health services, utilities, and other expenses are affordable for students studying in Ljubljana and other cities of Slovenia. Students can stay in rented apartments or share dormitories on the campus. An international student would need around 400 to 700 EUR monthly for the living costs. However, the amount differs with your needs and personal lifestyle.
